METRO Supermarket in Market! Market! Taguig maintains its dedication to upholding best practices in quality and food safety as it recently obtained recertification for good manufacturing practices (GMP) and hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) for its fresh section. The auditing was conducted by the British Standards Institution Group Philippines Inc., a global leader in inspection and certification.

According to Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) President and Chief Operations Officer Manuel Alberto, “The continued accreditation of Metro Supermarkets demonstrates our commitment to work hard at earning the trust and loyalty of our customers. This is our assurance that they will get only the best products, services and shopping experience with us.”

With this latest recertification, MRSGI holds the distinction of being the only retailer whose fresh section has GMP and HACCP citations across four supermarkets with the other three being the ones at Metro Alabang, Metro Ayala Center Cebu and Metro Mandaue.
