THE Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) partnered with Aboitizowned LIMA Land Inc. for the opening of a national identification (ID) registration center in Batangas.

In a statement on Friday, Aboitiz Infra Capital said the partnership would help speed up the registration for national IDs in the province.

The registration site is located at the LIMA Exchange covered court.

Aboitiz Infra Capital said LIMA Exchange also hosts the LIMA Transport Hub, making it more convenient for the 60,000 employees working for the businesses in LIMA and the nearby residents of Malvar and Lipa to complete their registration.

The company said the PhilSys National ID Registration Center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with walk-ins permitted on a limited basis.

The opening ceremony for the site was led by PSA Regional Director Charito Armonia, Aboitiz Integrated Economic Centers First Vice President Rafael Fernandez de Mesa and Malvar Mayor Cristeta Reyes.

LIMA Exchange is an integrated hub, located in the 794-hectare LIMA Estate in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas.

The estate is Philippine Economic Zone Authority-registered and houses 130 locators and 2,500 households. It also has a 138-room, four-star hotel development and 167 shops located in its mall establishments.
