THE Bataan Tourism Park in Balanga City has begun receiving visitors since Thursday night after it was blessed and inaugurated on Wednesday, December 1. The new open space park was located near the Roman Highway adjacent to the provincial tourism office in Balanga City. It was made possible through the cooperation of the provincial government under Gov. Albert Garcia and Second District Rep. Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia 3rd in coordination with the second engineering district of the Department of Public Works and Highways. Trellises and gazebos were built around the park. There was also a small bridge near a lagoon now festooned with Christmas decorations.
