KAPAMILYA rising star Charlie Dizon didn’t bag a much-coveted dramatic accolade as Best Actress for nothing. Following her most notable project, 2021 MMFF entry “Fan Girl,” the 26-year-old actress proved that she will soon be in a league of her own when it comes to drama because of “Viral Scandal.”

“Sobrang meaningful and memorable siya para sa akin kasi sa ‘Fan Girl’ ang dami doon na first time kong ginawa, and same dito sa Viral Scandal.

“Ang dami kong natutunan pati sa sarili ko. Ang dami kong experience na nakaka-challenge. Masaya din ako sa mga nakasama ko during those times kasi sobrang giving at sobrang passionate lahat dito sa show,” Dizon said at the virtual media conference of the program, which is now in its final week.

According to the lead star, Viral Scandal has exposed her to contemporary social issues and the critical nature of a support system for victims of controversies.

“I’m extremely proud of what I accomplished with Viral Scandal. The program has molded me into a new person,” Dizon shared.

She also shared lessons she learned from Rica, the character she portrayed in the series, and the ordeal she went through as a rape victim who had to endure a social media scandal.

“Dahil sa pamilya Sicat, pinakita sa storya na grabe yung support system na pinakita kay Rica kung baga kahit anong mangyari, kamikami pa rin yung magkakasama in the end. ‘Yun po ang masasabi ko na in every victim, laging apektado yung buong environment niya at dun ka lang din makakakuha ng matinding support system na sila at sila pa rin yung babalikan mo,” she mentioned. “And for Rica, maswerte siya na yung pamilya Sicat talaga ay binuhos yung lahat sa kanya lalo na sa mga panahong kailangan talaga niya,” she added.

Things will favor Rica as the justice department will grant their case and serve an arrest warrant to Jigs.

On the other hand, Kyle decides to investigate further his father’s death. He will learn that his father did not commit suicide and someone had pushed him.
