Shooting for Rotary

GUN enthusiasts will have the chance to show their skills on October 8 and 9 at the first Rolando “Boboy” Corona shoot fest at the newly opened SAP Outdoor Shooting Range in Bacolod City’s Reclamation Area in Negros Occidental.

The two-day fest, designed to raise funds for the Rotary Club (RC) of Bacolod-Marapara, promises to be an exciting, fun and competitive event.

It will feature six stages of shortand long-firing courses and three categories: classic, production and standard. The categories are determined primarily on the configuration of a competitor’s firearm.

The shoot fest is open to all shooters. Registration is P700 per shooter and P500 for lawmen. Gun hire is available for those with knowledge of gun safety.

“The golden rule for a successful Rotary fund-raiser is to make it fun and thrilling. This shoot-for-a-cause event is going to be that and more. The SAP range is a great venue, and

we look forward to welcoming gun enthusiasts from far and wide,” says immediate past RC Bacolod

Marapara president Corona.

Special guests will be the Viray brothers: Akeem, Kahlil and Kareem. They are the country’s top shooters. Kahlil was the 2017 Junior World Practical Shooting Champion. He and his brothers will be on hand throughout the event to talk guns.

Registration for the event starts at 8 a.m. on both days. For more information, please contact Bob Delamar through +63.991.3260657.
