WORLD Junior Championships veteran Amina Bungubung led the Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardees in the Mayor’s Cup Swimming Championship International Qualifying Series held in Lucena City.

Bungubung, one of the eight Filipino tankers that saw action in the world championships, stamped her class in the one-day meet to rule the girls’ 15year class in Class A.

The Mojdeh brothers Mikee and Behrouz Mohammad — younger brothers of World Junior Championships semifinalist Micaela Jasmine — also dominated their respective age-bands in the tournament organized by the Swim League Philippines and Philippine Killerwhale Swimming Team.

Mikee copped the MOS plum in the boys’ 7-year division while Behrouz Mohammad captured the top honors in the boys’ 11-year category.

The other Class A MOS winners are Shane Alejo, Franco Linatoc, Hailey Tizon, Calix Boletche, Yoanna Bersamin, Kristian Cabana, Mariane Lopez, Jon Inciong, Patricia Santos, Ethan Dulin, Peter Dean, Rafee Balbuena, Eric Umali, Shairrine Floriano and Sierdon Caguibal.

In Class B, Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Paranaque standout Julia Ysabelle Basa led the MOS awardees after topping the girls’ 15year category.

Joining Basa in the list are Drei Mabilin, Guillana Ballesteros, Emma Paz, Xcross Alcala, Kylee Magtangob, Jhon-Dee De Luna, Kathryn Keir, Wiston Taggs, Clara Maligat, Elisa De Kam, Ivoh Gentala, Dominic Young, Ingrid Lobos, Jamen Bersamin, Aidepp De Luna, Zahjeed Sarmiento, Elron Magsisi, Rafee Balbuena, Boletche

The MOS winners in Class C are Nami Virrey, Yanah Banta, Ysabella Cantos, Paul Domingo, Kyle Almario, Jarred Aquino, Aisha Estioco, Geric Beredo, Wynn Robles, Zoe Terrible, Amiel Lotino, Rapahelle Musico, Clark Cuenca, Miguel Herrera, Patricia de Chaves and Andrei Serrato.
