SBC links with AWS for cloud service platform

SECURITY Bank Corp. (SBC) has selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support its digital transformation and innovation mandate to provide differentiated products, services and experiences for its customers.

In a statement, SBC said that AWS will help accelerate their data transformation initiatives in order to meet evolving customer requirements and demands for as of the moment, the bank has successfully launched the first iteration of a cloud-native, production-grade, enterprise data platform built on AWS.

“Aligned with our vision to be the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines, we’re investing in our customers and in what matters to them. With AWS, we will innovate digital interactions faster and harness the power of data. Through actionable intelligence, we’ll create new ways of personalizing and delivering services like promotions and special offers,” Lucose Eralil, Security Bank Enterprise Technology and Operations head, said.

“The banking industry in the Philippines is rapidly digitizing to ensure customers have access to the most secure, personalized and innovative services. AWS is excited to support SBC as it embraces cloud computing and digitization.
