Dominguez elected Alsons Dev director

ALSONS Development and Investment Corp. announced the election of former Sarangani governor Miguel Dominguez as a member of the board of directors. According to a statement from the company, Dominguez will oversee Alsons business development strategy and operations.
“Alsons Dev[elopment] continues to build and expand its services to cater to our stakeholders’ needs and preferences, and Miguel’s appointment is a crucial step in advancing this goal. He will be responsible for further growing our existing properties and leading the development of upcoming projects. This includes our expansion into the Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos) region, where we will be launching our first mixed-use development outside Davao City,” Alsons Development President Nicasio Alcantara said. “With his experience as director of Alsons Aquaculture Corp., we are confident that he will be able to lead Alsons Dev[elopment] in the right direction.”
Dominguez concurrently serves as director of Alsons Aquaculture Corp., the Philippines’ largest fully integrated aquaculture farm and milkfish processing plant in Alabel, Sarangani province.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Boston College in 1999 and recently completed his master’s degree in public administration at Harvard University.
