Sunlight Air finally takes off to Siargao

WITH travel seeing a steady resurgence, Sunlight Air has been ecstatic to bring passengers to one of the Philippines’ most sought-after island destinations: Siargao. Last Oct. 31, 2022, Siargao was added to Sunlight Air’s roster of routes, which included Manila, Clark, Coron, Puerto Princesa, San Vicente, Camiguin and Caticlan. The boutique airline was scheduled to fly to the destination twice weekly every Monday and Friday. To celebrate this new route with its frequent and new fliers, Sunlight Air prepared a lounge event for travelers to enjoy on Oct. 28, 2022.

In celebration of the momentous occasion of the airline’s Siargao route launch, an inaugural event was held at Sunlight Air’s The Lounge at INAEC Hangar D. Passengers were treated to breakfast cocktails, followed by welcome remarks and an introduction to Siargao. Additionally, during the lounge event, Sunlight Air also gave out raffle stubs to the event’s guests for the raffle, which would allow them to win a roundtrip ticket to any of Sunlight Air’s destinations. It was also noted that the airline has also held the distinction of having the least expensive flight offerings to Siargao at the moment.

Sunlight Air continued to be a boutique airline, based in Manila. The airline has flown avid travelers to various island destinations within the country, including Coron via Busuanga, Camiguin, San Vicente, Boracay via Caticlan and soon, Siargao. Flights have been exclusively chartered by Asia Pacific Travel.
