THE Bureau of the Treasury made a full award during Monday’s T-bill auction, raising the programmed P15 billion.

Total bids reached P62 billion with the auction committee deciding to limit awards to P5 billion for each of the 91-, 182- and 364-day tranches.

The three-month T-bill fetched 4.211 percent, lower than the previous rate of 4.250 percent. Offers for the paper amounted to P22.360 billion.

The 182-day paper, meanwhile, saw its rate fall to 4.912 percent from 4.967 percent. Demand was again high at P19.080 billion.

The one-year T-bill, lastly, recorded a rate of 5.428 percent, down from 5.448 percent. Tenders amounted to P20.573 billion.
