EGov PH Super App fires up in CLuzon

RESIDENTS with transactions with the government will now enjoy the benefit of online communication as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched the eGov PH Super App in the region.

The project, launched at the Bulacan State University over the weekend in time for the 2023 National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Month, features the various government services rolled into one.

Among the services offered by the App under Phase 1 are the National Digital ID, National Government Services, Tourism and eTravel, Electronic Payments (eGovPay) and Banking Services, eReceipt, eLGU, Jobs and Manpower (eJobs), Philippine Startup Empowerment Program, Philippine Investment Program, SIM Card Registration, and People’s Feedback Mechanism (eReport).

DICT Central Luzon Regional Director Antonio Edward Padre encouraged the youth to assist adults and the elderly in using ICT offered by the App, which is downloadable through the Google Play Store (for Android) and Apple Store (for IOS) free of charge.

To access the features of the App, a user will be required to authenticate an account through the Philippine Identification System ID.

Padre assured that the App went through a strict preliminary audit from DICT cybersecurity experts.

DICT’s partners in implementing the project include the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Department of Tourism, the Land Bank of the Philippines, the Government Service Insurance System, the Social Security System, Mindanao Development Authority, the provincial government of Isabela, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Land Transportation Office.

Other partners are the Department of Foreign Affairs, Anti-Red Tape Authority, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Treasury, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Transportation, Department of Public Works and Highways, Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund, National Printing Office, Council for the Welfare of Children, Maritime Industry Authority, Philippine Commission on Women, Credit Information Corporation, National Commission for Senior Citizens, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and the Commission on Higher Education.
