THE director of The Manila Times College of Subic (TMTCS) was given an award for excellence at the recent Research and Education Congress 2022 in Tagaytay City.

Dr. Paolo Robert Bueno, director for student success of TMTCS, received the Award of Excellence in Education and Innovation under the Health Sciences Division at the Novice Level from the Association of Higher Education Multidisciplinary Researchers Inc. (AHEdMRI) and the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators: Manila + Chapter (Uniffied).

Bueno thanked those who inspired him in a social media post.

“Still overwhelmed! I cannot contain the happiness. I would like to thank all the people who continuously inspire me to do things at their utmost quality,” he said.

Bueno believes that an educator’s award serves as an influence to students to become better.

“The true award for an educator is to influence his/her students to become better versions of themselves,” he said.

“Students are able to maximize their abilities and contribute to the benefit of others. They will be able to create a positive environment that will promulgate a cycle of innovation.”

Organized by the AHEdMRI and the Uniffied, the Research and Education Congress 2022 was held via Zoom on November 18 and at the One Tagaytay Hotel on November 19 with the theme “Advancing Research, Education, and Innovation at the Dawn of the New Normal” and had speakers such as National Scientist Dr. Lourdes Cruz, and National Artist Professor Fides Cuyugan-Asensio.
