P680K worth of shabu seized in NCR ops

AUTHORITIES seized more than P680,000 worth of illegal drugs from two suspects in separate police operations in Parañaque City and Pasig City.
In Parañaque, a 33-year-old male considered a high-value individual was arrested on Saturday along Filipinas Avenue, UPS 5, Barangay San Isidro.
Parañaque Police chief BGen. Roderick Mariano identified the suspect as Nasrudin Ayob Libas, alias Camsa.
Among the items confiscated from Libas were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, four heatsealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with an estimated combined weight of more or less 100 grams, valued at P680,000.00, one P1,000 bill marked money, and one blue coin purse.
The illegal drug will be handed over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for analysis.
The suspect will be transported to the Parañaque City Police Station for proper documentation.
In Pasig City, a 28-year-old suspect was arrested in Barangay Manggahan for violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art. II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Pasig City Police chief Col. Celerino Sacro Jr. identified the suspect as aka “Nunoy.”
Nunoy was arrested during a buy-bust along Velasco Avenue. He yielded about 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at P68,000.
