Elected Cavite officials to take oath before July 1

TRECE MARTIRES CITY: Cavite’s newly elected officials, including reelected Gov. Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr. and Vice Governor-elect Athena Tolentino, are scheduled to take their oath of office before July 1 along with 266 other winners in seven cities and 16 towns of the province.
A total of 268 elected officials of the province won in the recent May 9 elections. This included eight congressmen, 16 board members, 23 mayors, 23 vice mayors, and their respective councilors.
Remulla will be sworn in for his second term, while Tolentino as vice governor as she also ends her term as Tagaytay City councilor. Tolentino’s parents, Abraham and Agnes, were also elected as Tagaytay City mayor and vice mayor, respectively.
The winning district representatives of Cavite include First District Congressman-elect Ramon “Jolo” Revilla 3rd, Congresswoman-elect Lani Mercado-Revilla of the second district, Congressman-elect Adrian Jay “AJ” Advincula of the third district, Reelected Elpidio “Pidi” Barzaga of fourth district, Congressmanelect Roy Loyola of the fifth district, Congressman-elect Antonio “Ony” Ferrer of the sixth district, reelected Congressman Crispin Jesus “Boying” Remulla of the seventh district and Congresswoman-elect Aniela Tolentino of the eighth district of Cavite.
The winning board members are Davey Chua and Rommel Enriquez of the first district, Ram Revilla and Edwin Malvar of the second district, Shernan Jaro and Ony Cantimbuhan of the third district, Jun de la Cuesta and Nickol Austria of the fourth district, Aidel Belamide and Marcus Amutan of the fifth district, Kerby Salazar and Maurito Sison of the sixth district, Ping Remulla and Munding Del Rosario of the seventh district, and Irene Bencito and Rainier Ambion of the eighth district.
The new mayors elected are Denver Chua of Cavite City, Raffy Dualan of Naic, Lawrence “Umbe” Arca of Maragondon, Dennis Glean of Bailen, Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer 4th of General Trias City, Alex “AA” Advincula of Imus City, Edwin “Strike” Revilla of Bacoor City, Dahlia Loyola of Carmona, Francisco “Cocoy” Mendoza Jr. of Mendez, and lawyer Kevin Anarna of Silang.
The reelected mayors are Dino Chua of Noveleta, Angelo Aguinaldo of Kawit, Voltaire Ricafrente of Rosario, Yuri Pacumio of Tanza, Lamberto Bambao of Ternate, Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista of Magallanes, Randy Salamat of Alfonso, Gemma Lubigan of Trece Martires City, Perfecto Fidel of Indang, Redel Dionisio of Amadeo, Jennifer Barzaga of Dasmariñas City, and Maricel Torres of General Mariano Alvarez.
The winning vice mayors are Raleigh Rusit of Cavite City, Arlyn Torres of Noveleta, Bam Bam Gonzales of Rosario, Junbie Samala of Kawit, Rowena Bautista of Bacoor City, Homer “Saki” Saquilayan of Imus City, Rex Mangubat of Dasmariñas City, Percy Cabuhat of General Mariano Alvarez, Cesar Ines Jr. of Carmona, Gen. Ted Carranza of Silang, Dr. Agnes Tolentino of Tagaytay City, Joseph Legaspi of Amadeo, Ronnie Rocillo of Mendez, Madonna Pel of Alfonso, Michael Manalo of Bailen, Ismael Rodil of Indang, Jess Antazo of Magallanes, Bobby Montehermoso of Trece Martires City, Bernie Ilagan of Maragondon, Salvador Gubio of Ternate, Junio Dualan of Naic, Simon “SM” Matro of Tanza, and Jonas Glyn Labuguen of General Trias City.
