YHI Philippines Inc., the official Philippine distributor of Nitto Tires and Index Battery, played a pivotal role as Gold Sponsors in the recently concluded 2023 King of RIOT (Rizal International Off-road Track). The multistage off-road competition, now in its third year, unfolded at its new venue, The Hamptons Caliraya in Cavinti, Laguna, from Nov. 16-19, 2023.

With over 200 off-road rigs participating, the 2023 King of RIOT saw tremendous growth and excitement. Jun Siquian, RIOT chairman, emphasized how the off-road series has elevated the quality of off-road vehicles in the country since its inception in 2021. “Since the inaugural race of King of RIOT two years ago, more and more people are embracing the 4x4 off-road lifestyle,” he added.

“The exponential growth in the number of participants over the first two seasons and the anticipated turnout for the 2023 series are proof of how King of RIOT has successfully elevated the quality of 4x4 vehicles in the country,” Siquian added.

Participants in the King of RIOT were categorized into King of RIOT (prototype rigs), Riot Warrior (modified rigs), Production (divided into big and small), Jeep Class, and the new UTV Class.
