PORSCHE, the iconic sports car manufacturer, recently marked the 30th anniversary of the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed with the debut of the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster. A nod to the first Porsche model line, the Vision 357 Speedster is a striking concept car that pays homage to the classic Porsche 356 while embracing cuttingedge electric performance.

In sync with the 30 years of the Festival to the closed Porsche Vision 357, which of Speed, Porsche has introduced the kickstarted the brand’s anniversary-year Vision 357 Speedster, the sister model celebration. A high-caliber Porsche parade at the Hillclimb, featuring six winning cars from Porsche’s triumphant history at Le Mans, added to the festivities.

The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster is not just a concept; it’s a vision of the future. Technologically based on the Porsche 718 GT4 e-Performance, this all-electric speedster is an embodiment of driving pleasure, dynamics, and a purist form. Inspired by the 356, the Vision 357 Speedster shares design elements with its closed counterpart, the Vision 357, while showcasing an all-new level of e-performance.

The Vision 357 Speedster boasts a characteristic speedster design with a squat, shortened windscreen and a tonneau cover spanning the right side of the car. The exterior embraces a two-color concept, marrying historic motorsport influences with modern aesthetics. The distinctive Marble Grey and Grivelo Grey Metallic tones complemented by touches of Miami Blue create a visually stunning and aerodynamically optimized look.

The exterior also features an anniversary logo with the large “75,” paying homage to Porsche’s 75 years of sports cars, and the years “1948” and “2023.” Comic-style unicorns and a bold “Speedster” logo add a touch of playfulness to the design. Exterior mirrors are replaced by cameras, positioned forward on the fenders, enhancing aerodynamics.

The interior is a celebration of minimalism and functionality, tailored to the driver’s needs. With a low-slung seat position, carbon-fiber reinforced plastic seat shell, and a transparent surface instrument cluster, the Vision 357 Speedster exemplifies sporty sophistication. Miami Blue accents on controls and a six-point seat belt enhance the racing-inspired cockpit.

Powered by electric motors and battery technology from the Mission R, and the chassis from the 718 GT4 Clubsport, the Vision 357 Speedster promises a thrilling driving experience.
