THE World Association of Master Chefs (WAMC) is a professional chefs association with over 100 chapters worldwide with a home base in Australia.

The Philippine Chapter was approved and established in Dumaguete City in December 2019 by the Global Committee under WAMC Global President Gaven Ferguson, with Chef Carlo Andre Martin Baroa as the founding country president.

Plans were underway for the first general assembly in April 2020 when the pandemic lockdowns started in March. Finally, it happens on May 20 to 22 in Dumaguete. The goal is to uplift the standards of the culinary and hospitality industries in the country.

At WAMC, all the officers and teachers are chefs who are accomplished

in their respective fields of specialization and employed by prime food establishments in the Philippines

and abroad.
