TaskUs recognized as Outstanding Employer and Outstanding Exporter

TASKUS, a global provider of outsourced digital services and nextgeneration customer experience to fast-growing technology companies, bagged both the Outstanding Exporter Award and Outstanding Employer Award at the recently concluded 2022 Philippine Economic Zone Authority Excellence Awards.

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) was a government agency that established the legal framework and mechanisms for the integration, coordination, planning and monitoring of economic zones in the country. Every year, through the PEZA Excellence

Awards, the agency recognized outstanding Filipino employers and PEZA members, who displayed excellence in their services and contributed to the improvement of Filipino laborers’ lives across the Philippines.

The Outstanding Exporter Award was given to PEZA members, who accomplished outstanding performance in exports in terms of total export value, growth and net-trade balance. Meanwhile, the Outstanding Employer Award was granted to employers that generated the most number of jobs, held high regard for the welfare of their workers, and maintained harmony between labor and management.

“These awards are a testament to our commitment to generating and providing career opportunities to many Filipinos in the country, which has always remained a key market to TaskUs,” said Dean Van Ormer, TaskUs senior vice president for Operations in Southeast Asia. “TaskUs has always held high regard for the welfare of our people and our clients across the world, and we plan to raise that bar even higher as we move forward.”

TaskUs was founded in Cavite, Philippines by Bryce Maddock and Jaspar Weir in 2008. It has been a member of PEZA since 2015.
