Nitto Tires assumes the role of the official tire partner for this remarkable 20-day overland journey that will encompass a circumnavigation of the Philippines.

Scheduled from Sept. 24 to Oct. 13, 2023, the Great Philippine Overland Loop will feature a convoy of 20 4x4 off-road vehicles embarking on a challenging 6,500-kilometer expedition, traversing 38 provinces within the Philippines. To underscore the adventure’s audacity, the overlanding team plans to undertake six RORO (roll-on/roll-off) ship crossings.

A primary objective of the Great Philippine Overland Loop is to showcase the splendor of each town and province explored during the expedition, while also celebrating the diverse cultures across the nation. Moreover, the endeavor seeks to inspire both local and international tourists to discover more of the Philippines through overlanding.

The official partnership agreement between Mototesto Overland Equipment Chief Executive Officer Tim Tuason and YHI Philippines-Nitto Tires Philippines General Manager Jayson Delloso marks a significant milestone for both companies.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this adventure, Delloso stated: “This promises to be an epic journey, and Nitto Tires is honored to be part of this monumental event, paying homage to the Philippines’ beauty and promoting inter-island travel to boost local tourism.”
