PhilHealth gets 91% satisfaction rating

THE Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) being committed to its mandate of delivering excellent service to its members and partners nationwide earned a 91.06 percent satisfaction rating for the year 2021.

The survey was conducted by Novo Trends PH Inc. last December 2021 to around 5,000 clients. Respondents were stakeholders who transacted business with PhilHealth such as members, employers, and those managing the remittances of their employees, Health Care Institutions (HCIs) on behalf of accredited business organizations for the provision of health care services, and Health Care Professionals (HCPs).

In the overall satisfaction, the survey showed that employers gave PhilHealth a net satisfaction rating of 90.26 percent while individual members gave a 90.19 percent net satisfaction rating. HCPs and HCIs gave a corresponding net satisfaction rating of 83.63 percent and 77.14 percent, respectively.

Eligible respondents also replied that their major source of information about PhilHealth was the information desk in the Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO), especially for individual members. The official PhilHealth website as the online version of the information desk is relied upon by representatives of establishments, especially those of health care institutions. The PhilHealth Facebook account is the most popular among social media apps. Other sources of information received by individual members include family members, barangay (village) officials and health workers. Health care providers also relied on the PhilHealth customer service representative, their professional organizations and associates for information about PhilHealth.
