Ayala launches all-new BYD Atto 3 crossover

FOLLOWING its first local appearance at the 2023 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit last month, the Ayala Group, through Mobility Access Philippines Ventures Inc., officially launched the all-new BYD Atto 3 crossover.
Officially launched at the Glorietta Activity Center on Nov. 17, 2023, the BYD Atto 3 was introduced as the most advanced electric vehicle (EV) model from the Chinese global EV powerhouse.
Entering the Philippine automotive market, the BYD Atto 3 boasts some of the most advanced EV technologies available globally. Serving as a testament to its popularity in other markets, the BYD Atto 3 achieved its 500,000th production unit milestone in September 2023.
Appealing to first time EV buyers as well as tech-savvy Filipino car buyers, the BYD Atto 3 features the latest top notch EV technology, enabling users to be ready for the EV revolution that the brand is advocating for. The Atto 3 crossover is built on a new BYD e-Platform 3.0 that the brand exclusively developed for full EV models. The BYD Atto 3 also features the ultrasafe BYD Blade Battery technology.
The BYD Atto 3 delivers exhilarating electric performance with 204 PS and 310 Nm torque sent to the front wheels. These figures result in the new BYD crossover’s acceleration performance of going from 0-100 kph in 7.3 seconds. Aside from the fun electric driving performance, the top-of-the-line BYD Atto 3 offers a driving range of up to 480 kilometers (km). This impressive range is courtesy of the brand’s proprietary lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade Battery that has been well-known in markets around the globe for its safety, durability, performance, driving range, extended lifespan, and resistance to degradation from charge/discharge cycles.
Aside from plug-in charging through CCS2 charging connectors, the Atto 3 also recharges through regenerative braking. Another notable feature of the BYD Atto 3 is its capability to provide power in the event of power outage courtesy of its vehicle-to-load (V2L) function.
Stepping inside, the BYD Atto 3 features a class-leading 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment display. Aside from smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the infotainment system displays 360-degree camera feed for better maneuverability. Also, sending better natural lighting to the cabin is a panoramic sunroof.
The Atto 3 crossover’s advanced EV drive tech is complemented by advanced safety features such as traction control and electronic stability control; LED headlamps, taillamps, DRLs; and front and side curtain airbags which come standard across variants. Completing this suite of safety features is the advanced driving assist system package with Stop and Go Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC-S&G), automatic emergency braking system (AEB), blind spot detection (BSD), lane departure warning (LDW), and emergency lane keeping assist (ELKA).
Like other BYD models in the lineup, the Atto 3 is supported by the Ayala Land EV ecosystem that promises to give seamless user experience to every BYD users. Currently, 20 Ayala Land Charging Hubs in different parts of Luzon ensure users of worry-free EV driving experience.
