HOW LOISA ANDALIO AND RONNIE ALONTE KEEP THE FIRE BURNING

BY IZA IGLESIAS

LOISA Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, also known as LoiNie, is one of the celebrity couples whom fans admired because of their authenticity.

In a media conference, the celebrity couple share what they believe sets them apart from any other love teams in showbiz.

Alonte confidently said, “Paano kami naiiba sa kanila?

Alonte and Andalio met in the noon show “It’s Showtime” in 2016 as members of Hashtags and GirlTrends respectively. They confirmed their romantic relationship in December 2018. Since then, the couple keeps on getting stronger as time progress.

kapag may problema kami tapos pagaawayan namin. All with communication at trust,” Andalio shared.

cam and sa mismong camera. Nagpapakatotoo lang kami hindi sino showbiz lahat. Basta masaya

kaming dalawa.”

‘Love in 40 Days’

Throughout their partnership, the two has worked together in a number of digital miniseries and TV shows such as “The General’s Daughter” (2019), “Unloving U” (2021) and “The Goodbye Girl” (2022). This time around, the reel and real-life couple will star in the hauntingly cute teleserye “Love in 40 Days.”

Andalio shared that they felt pressured in doing the series, which is their first teleserye together as the lead stars.

“Dati kapag nagwo-work kami, second layer, hindi yung eksenang

mabibigat.

Meanwhile, Alonte shared that another added pressure for them is the fact that they need to act in front of the camera as if they are not a real life couple.

So gusto nila, parang fresh pa lang or nagliligawan pa lang. Mahirap din kasi yung kami in real life tapos gagawa kami ng teleserye na hindi pa naman kami talaga at kailangan i-acting at laruin paano

So mahirap, pero dahil sa tulong nila nagawa namin ng maayos,” Alonte said.

In “Love in 40 Days,” Andalio plays the role of Jane, a hardworking and competitive insurance agent who makes up for her father’s (William Lorenzo) shortcomings by providing for her family.

Everything seems to be going well in Jane’s life, when a sudden twist of fate occurs — a fatal car accident ends her life. Jane becomes a ghost and ends up in the Evergreen Mansion, a transitory place in the afterlife where souls can settle their grudges and unfinished business within 40 days before they can cross over to heaven.

This is where Jane meets Edward (Alonte), whose third eye was opened due to an accident. Edward is a charming band member and son of a business tycoon who owns and operates the biggest funeral homes in the country. Edward struggles to keep his love for Jane alive when he discovers that she is a ghost.

Directed by Manny Palo and Jojo Saguin, it also stars Leo Martinez, Lotlot de Leon, Janice de Belen, Ana Abad Santos, Ahron Villena, Maria Isabel Lopez, Renshi De Guzman, Trina Legaspi, Raven Molina, Chie Filomeno, Benedix Ramos, Vaughn Piczon, Kobie Brown, Andi Abaya and Zabel Lamberth.

Viewers can catch the pilot episode today, May 28 on the iWantTFC app or website, and on May 30 at 10 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
