IN the dynamic landscape of the Philippine construction industry, Philconstruct 2023 has emerged as a symbol of innovation and progress.

The construction sector, a pivotal driver of economic growth, has experienced remarkable advancements in recent years, redefining how buildings, roads and infrastructure are constructed while reshaping the materials used.

On Nov. 9 to 12, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center Manila and the World Trade Center, Philconstruct 2023 on its 34th year served as a transformative event. It culminated in Manila for its largest construction show, following its regional shows this year in Clark, Cebu and Davao.

The construction trade show brought together key industry players, both local and international, spanning diverse fields such as architecture, interior design, manufacturing, biomaterials, HVAC/R, plumbing and electrical, among others.

TechnoForum-branded seminars that offer opportunities for technical skills advancement for engineers and building experts were held.

Notably, the Green Breakthroughs Summit by the Philippine Green Building Initiative and the seminar sessions featuring World of Concrete’s Rick Yelton were enlightening experiences for attendees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Engineer Ronaldo Elepano Jr., president of the Philippine Constructors Association Inc., emphasized Philconstruct’s role as a platform for trade professionals to showcase cutting-edge products, machinery and equipment.

With over 1,500 exhibitors, occupying over 50,000 square meters of exhibition space, and attracting over 75,000 trade buyers in four days, alongside a diverse array of seminars and activities, Philconstruct 2023 charted the course for a construction industry that is not only innovative but also socially and environmentally responsible.
